Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) is offering 100% scholarships to eligible students under the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund (PWWF) as per the Industrial Relations Act 2010.
Admission Process
Eligible candidates must apply for admission as regular students and fulfill all admission requirements per MUL’s policies.
Once selected in the merit list, the candidate must visit the Admissions Office to verify their eligibility for the scholarship and submit the required documents for further processing.
Eligibility Criteria for PWWF Scholarship
This scholarship is available to workers or their children, as verified by the PWWF Committee. The worker must meet the following criteria:
Must qualify as a worker under the Industrial Relations Act 2010.
Must possess a valid Social Security Card.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a factory registered under the Factories Act 1934 or Mines Act 1923.
The organization must meet the definition of a factory under the Workers’ Welfare Fund Ordinance 1971 or the Companies’ Profit (Workers Participation) Act 1968.
Children of deceased/disabled workers are also eligible if:
The worker/miner was registered under EOBI/Social Security.
The worker/miner died or was disabled during service.
The widow/legal heir received a Death Grant from the Punjab Workers’ Welfare Board or a pension from EOBI/Social Security.
The worker/miner or their child must not be involved in any illegal activity or criminal proceedings.
Required Documents for PWWF Scholarship
Applicants must submit the following documents along with their admission application:
Worker/miner’s CNIC.
Worker/miner’s Social Security Card & Old Age Benefit Card.
