Dr. Abdul Aziz is serving as Professor and Dean, Faculty of CS & IT. He received his MPhil and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from University of East Anglia, UK. He secured British Merit Scholarship from UK for his higher education worth 86,000 Sterling pound (fully funded). He received his M.Sc. degree from University of the Punjab, Lahore and secured fully funded scholarship from Habib Bank Limited. Dr. Aziz secured first position in Punjab Public Service Commission, Lahore. He also secured first position in Federal Public Service Commission, Islamabad in 1994. He has been working as technical advisor for evaluating research projects submitted for funding to: - a. Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad b. National ICT R&D, Federal Government, Islamabad c. US-AID He has been working as member, Faculty Selection Board, Lahore College for Women University and Federal Urdu University, Islamabad. He is member of Accreditation Inspection Committee (AIC), National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). He has visited many universities across the country including Iqra University Karachi, Gift University Gujranwala and National Textile University Faisalabad. He is member, National Curriculum Review Committee (NCRC), HEC, Islamabad. His 30 research papers have published in international journals recognized by the HEC. Dr. Aziz is result oriented professional with strong technical background and impressive track record of achievements in the field of IT project management, operation and strategic business planning. He has successfully completed large number of IT projects both for government and corporate sector. His core competencies include Data Science, Project Management, Systems Designing, IT Operations, Systems Development, Database Designing and Strategic Planning for Business Development.
